Witness Consulting

As a former hospital nurse, Amber has a unique capability to guide health care providers through what can feel like a traumatic and terrifying event - testifying.  Even Amber has been deposed as an RN, so she appreciates the challenge of being in the "hot seat." With her work history in the healthcare field, Amber can quickly establish a rapport with providers and instinctively support their needs.  At the same time, Amber utilizes her knowledge as a litigator to tailor the preparation in order to support the case theory.

Jury Selection/Voir Dire

Amber can assist counsel by identifying a favorable juror profile and developing targeted voir dire questions to maximize preemptory challenges and systematically eliminate an unfavorable jury pool. Amber can attend trial in order to document juror responses and observe the jury pool, allowing counsel to focus on the task at hand.

Trial Preparation

Amber is skilled at quickly identifying case strengths and weaknesses can and help strategize with counsel on developing a successful and persuasive theory.  Amber has tried several of her own cases, so she is familiar with each phase of trial, evidentiary issues, motion practice and the importance of "telling the story" in a way that a juror understands.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Testimonials

"Amber is, by all accounts, one of the most talented witness consultants I have had the pleasure of working with over my 30 years of practice. I have had the opportunity to work with Amber on several medical malpractice cases involving significant catastrophic damages over the years, and each time, she has provided the necessary guidance and preparation for our nursing and healthcare staff prior to deposition and trial. She has a superb way of identifying the key nursing issues involved in a case, and working with those important witnesses to feel self-assured, well-prepared and confident when testifying. Her work is what assisted in our ability to defend those cases at trial. I would highly recommend her work to any litigation firm looking for an exceptional witness consultant."
